Angelina Jolie's ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton has recently admitted that he always felt like she was too good for him and he was not good enough for her while they were still married years ago.

The couple was married from 2000 to 2003.  In a candid interview with GQ, the "Bad Santa 2" actor stated that he "never felt good enough for her."

He further said that while they had a crazy chemistry, their lifestyle was very different and never on the same page.

Angelina would often go out to meet important people of politics and humanitarian from all around the world, while Thornton just wanted to stay home and watch baseball.

Even if that situation was manageable, it was getting invited and spending time with important and rich people that bothered Thornton most.

"What wasn't okay was that they'd get invited to George Lucas's house or something, and I'm real uncomfortable around rich and important people," said Thornton.

He would often find himself getting confused about what fork to use or how to act fancy in such occasion. However, he further mentioned that he doesn't care to act fancy. He is an easygoing person and likes exactly how he is.

Thornton still has Angelina's name tattooed on his leg. "See, it's just resting there. You can still see the name," he told GQ.

Angelina and Billy are both busy in their life but remained on good terms even after their divorce and talk every few months.

In a different interview with ET, Thornton said that Angelina "seems ok" right now amid what is going on around her, or at least she seems ok whenever she talks to him.

He further assured that he'll always be there for Jolie when she calls.

Brad Pitt was allegedly accused of striking his son Maddox but after an investigation he has since been cleared of all the child abuse claims.

Currently, Brad and Angelina's six children remain in her custody, but Brad is seeking shared custody of the kids and continues to exercise his visitation rights.
