A fresh NBA trade rumor is being the hot topic swirling around the league today. It involves superstar James Harden being rumored to be shopped by the Houston Rockets to the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics, which has been one of the busiest teams in the offseason looking for a high caliber player, are still searching for an upgrade on their roster. It is no secret that the Celtics are not yet satisfied with their current roster and they would like to add a bankable player that can pair with Al Horford and Isaiah Thomas to form a team that can contend with teams in the East.

On the other hand, the Rockets are believed to be taking into consideration the proposed deal from the Celtics. It is recalled that before the February trade deadline last year, the Celtics and Rockets were already talking about James Harden trade but it never prosper.

According to Parent Herald, it seems that the Celtics and Rockets are renewing the trade deal this time around. Trade scenario is suggesting that the Rockets would give up Harden to the Celtics in exchange for Avery Bradley, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart and a two first-round draft picks from Boston.

The report also says that having Harden will immediately give the Celtics a dependable scorer that is a big boost to their offensive game. Harden will bring in his impressive resume being selected four times in NBA All-Star and once an NBA Sixth Man of the Year awardee in 2012. Though the Celtics will eventually give their many assets including first round picks, a talented player like Harden is hard to pass up.

As reported by The Inquisitr, there are two points to inspect if ever this trade will pass the NBA league office. First, Harden just recently signed a four-year, $118 million contract with the Rockets this summer making him illegible to be traded until January 8, 2017.

And second, even if the Rockets approves to trade away Harden, the Celtics will have a hard time absorbing his contract which is $10 million more per season that Bradley, Brown and Smart combined salary as per stated in the report.

The rumored deal between the Boston Celtics and Houston Rockets is not working again for both teams. And it seems that Harden will continue to be the alpha dog for the Rockets. Stay tuned for the latest NBA trade rumors and updates.
