Billy Bob Thornton, a former husband of Angelina Jolie, has said that she seemed to be fine after her split with Brad Pitt.

Thornton made the comment when asked about the matter during the press meets for his comedy movie "Bad Santa 2." Woman's Day quoted Entertainment Tonight who asked Thornton how Jolie was doing and he said she seemed OK when he talked to her.

According to US Magazine, Thornton and Jolie were a thing back in the day when Billy was her leading man. They wed in Las Vegas on May 5, 2000 after co-starring in "Pushing Tin." The relationship ended in 2002.

The actress filed for divorce from Brad Pitt last September. Reports suggest that Brad Pitt is being investigated for child abuse by the Los Angeles County Department for a confrontation with Maddox.

The report added that Thornton and Jolie talked once in a while. Thornton reportedly said that it was none of his business and he likes to leave people alone when they are going through their trials and tribulations unless they approach him for help.

Woman's Day reported that Thornton and Jolie had got their names tattooed on each other with her name still resting on his shoulder. The actress had changed the tattoo to match the birthplaces of her children, said the report.

According to WD, apart from Billy Bob, Jolie's father Jon Voight has also voiced his concerns for his daughter.

The report said that Brad Pitt attended the premiere of his new film, Allied, his first since his separation, showing that he is moving back into the spotlight. He thanked his fans for their support despite his hard times.

US magazine quoted GQ, saying that in a recent interview, Thornton confessed to not being good enough for Jolie and that she is uncomfortable around rich and important people.
