Lamar Odom is reportedly ready to move on and turn over a new leaf in 2014. The 34-year-old athlete is trying to get his life and basketball career back on track following his split from reality star Khloe Kardashian.

The two ended their four-year marriage in November after months of cheating and drug allegations. According to Hollywood Life, Odom started seeing a life coach to help him get things into perspective.

"He's taking a few sessions just to get his head right after all he's been through with Khloe and his life," a source told the site. "It's not for drug abuse or anything, it's more of a life therapist, someone who he talks to about where he is in his life, where he wants to be and how to get there."

The source said Odom doesn't have any regrets about this mistakes he's made and is determined to move on. Even though he knows he wasn't the best husband to Kardashian, the source said the former Clippers player is ready to put the past behind him.

"What's done has already been done and both he and Khloe have to live with the results of both their mistakes and choices," the source said. "There's not a blueprint for a perfect marriage. It's a continual journey and you make mistakes along the way."

"He's not the type of man who lives life regretting this and that and sweating the small stuff," the source added. "It's his path and he's going to walk it the only way he knows how."

Odom has reportedly been getting some advice from Bruce Jenner. According to reports, Jenner is still close to Odom despite the marital problems he had with Kardashian. A source told Hollywood Life, that Jenner told the basketball star to leave all the negative stuff that happened in the past.

"Bruce told him, 'It will eat you alive and ruin any progress if you stay in the past.' He also told Lamar to stay off the websites and turn the TV off and not listen to gossip about him," the source said. "He basically gave Lamar a lot of advice and mental support."
