Khloe Kardashian is opening up about a lot in the February issue of Cosmopolitan UK. The 29-year-old reality star talked about her new niece North West, her divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom and recalled a painful childhood memory involving her mom Kris Jenner, the Daily Mail reports.

For the cover story, Kardashian revealed that Jenner wanted her to get a nose job when she was only 9-years-old but she refused.

"She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my mom telling her friend I needed a nose job," she said. "I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it."

Kardashian said that her mother wasn't the only person encouraging her to go under the knife.

"I've grown into my face, but I've had makeup artists tell me, 'You should get a nose job," she continued saying that she was "proud" of herself for never having any work done. "I'm so happy that I never have. I'm not against it - one day I probably will but it would be on my terms."

The E! star definitely has more than one reason to be proud of herself. Kardashian told the magazine that she shed 30 pounds and did it by going to the gym and changing her eating habits. She also briefly addressed her marriage troubles to Odom saying that she was looking forward to the New Year and new memories.

The end of 2013 was a difficult year for Kardashian. Her marriage to Odom was plagued with rumors ranging from infidelity to an alleged drug addiction. On Dec. 13 after four-years of marriage Kardashian filed for divorce citing irresponsible differences.

"I love the new year, new beginning. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with," she said. "You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life."

"I don't regret anything about my life," she added. "My life has made me who I am at this moment, and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter what if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly. It happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."
