The planet Mercury is not too familiar for people, apart from the fact that it's the planet closest to the Sun. However, Conspiracy Theorists have now found a strange, black object that looks like a doorway to some, and a building to others!

This rectangular, black object was seen first on satellite imagery, on Mercury's Victoria Rupes Cliffs, by Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily. He said it definitely indicated an 'entrance' on the small planet. He said it was 3.4 miles long.

"That is a giant doorway for giant ships to travel through," he said.

He uploaded the image two years ago, but it was picked up by another team. The footage was put up by alien hunter Tyler Glockner from Secure Team 10. He said he had his own opinions on it.

Firstly, he said that Mercury is a planet that is "rarely spoken about by the space agencies. There has been a question of whether there is a reason why planets like Mercury are rarely spoken about and that maybe that's because they don't want anyone's attention focusing on [them]."

He said that the shape stood out for being exclusively on its own, without any similar shapes nearby. However, after examining it further, he arrived at an alternative theory.

"It became clear to me that this is not an entrance at all. In fact, it's something much more magnificent. This big, black rectangle? This is a shadow. So then you ask, where's the shadow coming from, and what is casting such a large, long shadow?"

"And that my friends, is this large rectangular object, monolith-looking structure towering up above the surface."

After it was uploaded to the Secure Team 10 YouTube channel on November 8, the interesting trapdoor has been seen more than 265,953 times.

He added: "Nowhere in this picture are any of these rectangular black marks, so it is very unlikely that this is a glitch or something like that."

This finding follows another discovery of the "alien domes" found just a few days ago on Mercury's images.

There were more than 2,795 excited viewers of this image, with one commenting: "It looks like an electrical discharge from something."

But another just dismissed it. He said: "That's a shadow on Mercury, not a doorway."
