At 6-1, the Cavaliers are tied with the Charlotte Hornets for the best record in the Eastern Conference. They are performing at a very high level as expected. But their opponent in the NBA Finals for the past two seasons are also doing well as expected.

The Golden State Warriors are tied at second place with the Oklahoma City Thunder at 6-2, per NBA.com. Perhaps beating with this current NBA superteam required some extraordinary scenarios.

In the Warriors home opener lost to the San Antonio Spurs, Kawhi Leonard had his career high in points at 35. This means that it would require an extraordinary performance from the opposing team's player to beat the Warriors.

On the Warriors' other defeat, Stephen Curry went 0-10 from the three-point line which snapped his 157 consecutive games with at least a three-point field goal. This means that it would take some extraordinary situation like Stephen Curry not making a three-point shot for a team to beat the Warriors.

And in this season, the Cavaliers and the Warriors are once again expected to meet in the NBA Finals this season for three consecutive times. With this in mind, the Cavaliers need a superstar to match up against the superteam Warriors.

According to Chatt Sports Net, Carmelo Anthony is what the Cavs need to match Warriors' fully-loaded offensive players. And for this to happen, the Cavaliers need to trade Kevin Love.

At 3-4, the New York Knicks are 10th in the East which is quite surprising. They have Carmelo Anthony, All-Rookie First Team Kristaps Porzingis and former MVP Derrick Rose. But given the fact that their line-up is very lethal, they still unable to produce positive results.

It seems like the trio of Anthony, Porzingis and Rose just isn't working. If this trio isn't working anymore, a trio of Love, Porzingis and Rose might just work for the Knicks. Trading Anthony would mean more ball movement for the Knicks.

Aside from that, Love needed to get back to his All-Star form just like when he was in Minnesota. He already got his NBA championship. It's time for him to go elsewhere and gain his confidence and his numbers back.

He might just do that with the Knicks. If Melo is gone, Kevin Love might be the star player for the Knicks. Porzingis is still developing and Rose is not the same MVP caliber player anymore. Love might blossom in New York.

Anthony, on the other hand, will also benefit from this trade. His scoring production might drop because of the presence of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. But being in the championship contender team is what will make it special.

Anthony is a very talented offensive player. His gift in basketball is not very much noticed because his team usually didn't make the playoffs or exiting in the first round. To utilize his gifts, he needs to play at a team that might give him the opportunity to win an NBA championship.

Playing for the Cavs might just what Melo needs. Aside from that, Melo will help the Cavs to go mano-a-mano with the Warriors offensively. Anthony is also with the same draft class with LeBron. And we all know what that means. Another NBA Championship.

Remember when Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade team up with LeBron James in Miami Heat? In their four seasons together, they manage to reach the NBA Finals for 4 consecutive years and winning 2.

Will Carmelo Anthony join the Cavaliers to team up with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving to form their own superteam?
