November 2016 will see the coming together of two celestial events that will create the largest super moon in a long time.

Snopes.com reported that the term "super moon" is a term for a new or full moon that occurs when the moon is at its closest to Earth in a given orbit.

Two events would drive the sighting of a super moon. According to the report, the first one is the presence of a full moon, which occurs every 29 days, and when the moon comes closest to Earth, which occurs every 27 days.

Science alert reported that to view the super moon, the best places would be at the beach, on top of a building, near the mountains, or close to landmark structures like the statue of Liberty or The Eiffel Tower. Science alert asked people to go somewhere dark since artificial lights are a buzzkill.

The report suggested these places for particular reasons. At the beach, there is very less obstruction to view the super moon, and if one want's a clear view, there is nothing like it. The rooftop would be reportedly ideal because one gets to see silhouettes of the city, along with the super moon.

The mountains are perfect because it accentuates the scene, and makes a pretty picture. A magnificent structure will be an awesome sight as it gets "dwarfed" by the view of a super moon, reported science alert.

According to Snopes, which quotes a CNN report, early risers on the US West Coast can view the super moon at 5:52 am, and moon spotters in Asia are in best position to spot it at 9.25 pm Hong Kong time, or 7:22 pm in India.
