The months of presidential campaign culminated with the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of United States. Along with Trump's win, a major victory allowed the Republican Party to retain the control of Senate as well.

Shortly after Trump's democratic rival Hillary Clinton called him to concede, he met his supporters and delivered his victory speech.

As per Business Insider, Trump started the speech by announcing Hillary's call, congratulating him for the win as Trump applauded his rival on a very, very hard-fought campaign.

Moving on with his speech he appealed to all Americans, be it Republicans, Democrats or independents to come together as one united people.

He pledged to become a President for all Americans.  Trump especially asked those who didn't support him for their help and guidance so that a unity can be achieved.

Calling his campaign a 'movement', he announced that Americans from all races, religions, backgrounds and beliefs are a part of this movement. Further, Trump stated that America still has tremendous untapped potential which he is willing to harness.

Talking about infrastructure, Trump stated that he will be fixing the inner cities and rebuild highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, schools, hospitals.

He assured that he has a great economic plan which will double the growth and America will have the strongest economy anywhere in the world.

He declared that he expects to have a great relationship with all the other nations, who are willing to get along with America.

Taking the moment to address world community, Trump said that while he will always put America's interest first, but will deal fairly with everyone.

"All people and all other nations. We will seek common ground, not hostility. Partnership, not conflict," says Trump.

He also thanked his parents, brothers and sisters and his family for their tremendous support and hard work, which contributed in his victory.

He thanked a number of people who supported him during his campaign, namely New York's former mayor Rudy Giuliani, Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, U.S. Senator Jefferson Sessions, Former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee, politician Reince Priebus and many more. He further thanked his running mate Mike Pence.

He also acknowledged and appreciated the hard work of law enforcement authorities in New York City.

Trump announced that he is absolutely ready to become the president and assures that he will not let anyone down.

"I can only say that while the campaign is over, our work on this movement is now really just beginning. We're going to get to work immediately for the American people. And we're going to be doing a job that hopefully you will be so proud of your president," concludes Trump.
