There are mixed signals from both sides of the Brangelina camps. After a couple of months following news of their divorce, the former golden couple has arrived at an extended custody agreement for the six children.

Even as spokespersons from the Jolie camp announces that they have arrived at a "new, legally-binding custody agreement" that has been accepted by both parties, other sources confirm that it is not so. The agreement is only "a voluntary extension of the temporary divorce deal" that was arrived at in September.

The verbiage is long-winded and formal. But does that indicate anything? "We can confirm that childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago," clarified a representative for Jolie. "In accordance with this agreement, the six children will stay in their mother's custody, and the children will continue therapeutic visits with their father. This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children's best interest."

This statement was released one week after Pitt's official response. He is keen to have joint custody of his children. Gossip Cop clarifies that the "Allied" actor will move on with the fight for joint custody. The current agreement was extended only due to the examination into the altercations between Pitt and Maddox, his eldest son.

The 'Fury' actor has reportedly seen Maddox only once and the rest of his children twice through supervised visits.

But finally, through the smokescreen of words and repartee, who finally gets custody according to what they have filed?

It is still under dispute!
