"Burn Notice" star Seth Peterson, 43, and his 22-year-old girlfriend have confirmed that they are in a relationship. Peterson's girlfriend, Miranda Doefler, confirmed the news on Facebook by posting a picture of them together with the caption "Okay. Officially. Seth Peterson and I are a couple."

One of Doefler's Facebook friends commented on the photo writing "I thought he was married... or is 'was' the operative term here?" to which Doefler responded "Lol, yeah. Was."

Her parents also commented on the photo telling the aspiring writer that as long as she's happy, they're happy. At the beginning of December the 22-year-old had already begun posting pictures on her social media accounts of Peterson.

According to TMZ, Peterson's wife, Kylee Cochran who is seven months pregnant, filed for divorce in September citing "irreconcilable differences." At the time she split from the actor she was three months pregnant.

Peterson and Cochran were married for 12 years. The two met in 2001 on the set of the movie "Providence." She appeared in an episode of "Burn Notice" in 2007 and the two also worked on the 2011 film "Sedona" together.

Cochran and Peterson already have two children together, a daughter named Fenix, 8, and a son named Lennon, 5. According to TMZ, she filed court documents claiming that Peterson used to be a drug addict. She also says she wants full legal and physical custody of their children, the website reports.

"She claims Seth is already okay with this, and agreed to give up all custodial rights,"  TMZ reported. "Kylee's says she's open to giving Seth visitation, but only under supervised conditions, given his alleged past drug use. And she wants spousal support."
