The American crime investigative series NCIS Season 14 is speculated to be cancelled soon, although it has already aired first six episodes. For this first time, NCIS Season 14 is experiencing a dropout in its overall ratings, including audience viewership following Michael Weatherly's (Tony DiNozzo) permanent exit from the show.

Rumor mills are churning that NCIS Season 14 is on the verge of its dissolution. Previously, a tragedy struck the entire cast and crew of NCIS team when Gary Glasberg passed away. This further puts a question mark to the future series of NCIS series. However, these rumors were put to rest when CBS allotted the responsibility of NCIS to Frank Cardea and George Schenck.

It is hitting the newsstand that the post-Weatherly period for the show has been a bitter pill to swallow. The ratings have dropped, but it is also predicted that Toni DiNozzo might return to NCIS Season 14. According to Citizen Oracle, Tony DiNozzo is hoping for an NCIS-Bull crossover.

Michael Weatherly has, thus, put his return rumors to rest as he has suggested for crossovers between the shows.

"It seems like an interesting idea," Weatherly said during an interview. He added that it is something that is "deeply challenging to the programmers at CBS."

The timings for the anticipated crossover might not happen soon, but Michael Weatherly maintained that it could work when Bulls's fourth or fifth season is on air. While talking to TV Guide, Michael Weatherly hinted towards the crossover as it will be filled with intense suspension and excitement.
