Popstar Gwen Stefani and boyfriend country singer and songwriter Blake Shelton are rumored to be already a few steps closer to their highly-anticipated wedding. The couple has been speculated to be finalizing details so they can finally tie the knot sooner.

Reports previously mentioned that the couple got married secretly, but the celebrity lovers constantly deny it, and now, new reports are claiming that the couple may be marrying sooner than the fans expected.

According to Us Weekly, the 'Me Without You' singer reportedly wanted to get married with Shelton before the year ends, eventhough they have not really confirmed their engagement to the public.

An insider from the source said that the couple are apparently already meeting with vendors. So, this could really mean a grand wedding in the near future.

Life & Style also reported that a few months ago, the musician couple have been planning for a December wedding, where they have reportedly chosen Shelton's place in Oklahoma to be the venue of the ceremony because they want it to be a little private. Stefani's three sons from former husband, Gavin Rossdale will apparently play a huge part on the ceremony

An insider also mentioned that the couple had been thinking about having a kid together, where they mentioned adoption was also considered.

Stefani said that she and her husband-to-be are going to make sure that their marriage will work out this time, according to an interview. Before the two musicians met each other, they have been previously married to their former wife and husband, but got divorced on the same year which was in 2015.

Meanwhile, Stefani defended her country singer boyfriend when his fellow coach on The Voice, Adam Levine, had tweeted about "punching Shelton's face." That is obviously a silly joke since the two coaches constantly make jokes on the reality show's set.

The 'Don't Know Why' singer wrote, "I wanna punch young Blake Shelton's face so hard," on Twitter, with a black-and-white photo of Shelton from his high school years. Although it appeared to be the singer's way of making fun, as always, the country singer's girlfriend did not brush this off replying, "@adamlevine u r so dumb Gx."

It can be recalled that the two have been on a whirlwind romance since meeting on NBC's television reality competition The Voice where they both worked as coaches of the show.  Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been inseparable since then and can't help but gush about each other during public appearances and interviews.
