Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay is hitting the trade rumors once again. And this time, it seems that the Portland Trail Blazers is showing interest in acquiring his services.

Earlier reports have linked Gay in numerous trade rumors being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, and Boston Celtics but none of this deal ever happen. Last season, Gay release a statement that he wants to be traded to other teams but the Kings never release him. And now, this could be the perfect opportunity for Gay to be on an another team.

According to INSCMagazine, the possible destination for Gay is the Portland Trail Blazers who seem to be a perfect fit for him. Though it never named who will be the trade piece that the Kings will get from the Blazers, the report hints that it could be anyone from Meyers Leonard, Maurice Harkless, Al-Farouq Aminu or Allen Crabbe. But it was most likely Aminu and Crabbe who will be dealt by the Blazers to get Gay.

The report also stated that adding Gay to the roster will give the Blazers a dependable scorer and a rebounder playing alongside Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. And with Evan Turner and Miles Plumlee in the rotation, they can form a starting five that can compete with other teams. The absence of Crabbe can easily be filled by Gay while Aminu's departure can simply be taken over by Turner.

And this can be a win-win situation for both teams as the Kings will get younger with Crabbe and Aminu while the Blazers will get a proven veteran in Gay who can improve their perimeter as per stated in the report.

Oin a separate report by Parent Herald, Gay might opt out with his contract with the Kings this season and find a more competitive team. With this, the Kings might trade Gay immediately than to lose him in free agency. NBA trade deadline will be until February 2017 and all teams have the chance to make a trade deal with other teams?
