Until this time, there is no fixed answer yet as to the return of Nina Dobrev for the end season of "The Vampire Diaries." However, the executive producer of the series, Julie Plec, is pretty sure that Dobrev will return and that they are in the process of sorting things out now. Along with her return is the thought if Nina will be back as Katherine or Elena and which could possibly mean an end of the Salvatore brothers.

But when Paul Wesley, who plays Stefan Salvatore in the series, was asked on how he would like the series to end, he answered that Stefan would die with Damon and together they would take off their daylight. For him, that would be the perfect ending as per Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

And when it's time for Ian Somerhalder, who is cast as Damon Salvatore, to give his answer or possible and perfect ending, he gave a contrasting answer. According o him, he prefers that the two of them should jump on a plane and head to Caribbean and drink Caribbean wine while sitting on a beach. Then, he added that when the sun rises, they will give each other a hug, take their rings off then just disappear.

With those answers from the two main cast, it seems like the guys who play Damon and Stefan in "The Vampire Diaries" eight seasons are all prepared to kill the Salvatore brothers. If Julie Plec will employ that plan, then fans won't be able to see either Damon or Stefan during the 4th season of "The Originals."

Meanwhile, fans are clueless as to whether Nina Dobrev doppelganger will meet her end in Mystic Falls. But one thing is for certain, Elena will drive Katherine to take the cure to be able for Katherine to transform into human just before the doppelganger was entombed. However, there is a speculation that somebody is inside that dark place who wants to employ revenge.

But either Katherine or Elena will make things difficult for both Stefan and Damon. Instead, they would just opt to take off those rings and throw them away and that would how "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 would end. Both Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley agree to that kind of ending.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 has only two episodes left and fans still wonder if Nina Dobrev will return as either Katherine or Elena.
