Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) and her famous family were taken to a local hospital after suffering minor injuries from a car crash on Monday night, People magazine reports.

The eight-year-old reality star of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and members of her family, including Pumpkin, Mama June, Jessica and Sugar Bear, were all in the family's 2012 Suburban when a 19-year-old boy allegedly crashed into them while speeding in the opposite direction without his lights on. TMZ first reported the incident along with photos of the family's wrecked vehicle.

"It happened so quick," Mama June told the magazine. "Before I could say watch out - boom - he had already hit us. Pumpkin went into a full panic attack and has severe bruising on her chest from the seat belt. Alana hit her head on the glass."

As for June, she suffered whiplash, severe back pain and a neck sprain from the crash. Sugar Bear, who was driving at the time, suffered back sprain.

To TMZ, Mama June said, "We've only had that Suburban for 6 months and it's not even paid off yet," and to People she added, "This is the first wreck that we have ever had, but everybody is doing okay. Today is Pumpkin's 14th birthday, so we are still going to celebrate."
