Juan Pablo Galavis is going to break some hearts this season on "The Bachelor" - in fact during the season premiere one contestant already left the house bawling because she didn't get a rose. But before we get into what happened during the first episode, let's talk about Galavis and what he's looking for in the woman of his dreams.

The sexy former soccer player told ET that when it comes to love and finding "the one," he isn't too picky. The one quality his dream girl needs to have is "honesty." As far as major turnoffs, Galavis confesses that a woman who can't dance will have a hard time winning his heart.

"No dancing is horrible," he told ET with a laugh. "But we'll see, maybe there's an exception around here."

During his time as a contestant on "The Bachelorette" he said that his ideal woman has "to love my daughter" and "she has to love adventure."

Ok, now that you know what the "Bachelor" is looking for in his leading lady, back to the season premiere. The new season kicked off with an interesting start as the 27 ladies - not the usual 25 - all got the chance to meet the hunky Juan Pablo.

During the ABC reality show, Galavis not only got to meet the ladies but received some very crucial advice from the most recent "Bachelor," Sean Lowe. Lowe, who found love and will marry contestant Catherine Giudici, told him not to let to the girls see him kiss someone. We'll see if he takes that advice.

So what happened during the season premiere? Here's a quick recap of the episode's highlights:

Galavis gave the coveted "first impression" rose to Sharleen who admitted that she wasn't too impressed with her first encounter of the former soccer player during their one-on-one.

"I guess I thought that I would feel more of this like, insta-chemistry than I did," she said. "If I'm totally honest, it just seems a little forced."

He handed out roses to Clare, Nikki, Renee, Andi, Alli, Chantel, Lauren S., Kelly, Cassandra, Danielle, Chelsie, Kat, Victoria, Christy, Lucy, Elise, Amy L., and Sharleen.

Amy J., Kylie, Lauren H., Christine, Ashley, Valerie, Lacy, Maggie, and Alexis were all sent home.

In clips for the rest of the season, there will definitely be a lot more tears and kissing and even some fighting between the ladies but Galavis is determined to find love.

"It's very important for me to find true love. It's what I'm missing right now," he said in a voiceover at the beginning of the show. "I'm the first 'el Bachelor Latino.' I speak the language of love."

What do you think of the remaining ladies?
