Here is some great news for all those waiting for the release of Microsoft Surface Pro 5. It is being reported that the tablet might be released a day ahead of its schedule, that is, on Oct. 27.

Microsoft has sent out invitations to selected guests and other launches might also take place on the occasion, reports Mstars News. Fueling the prior release stories are discounts and price cuts being offered on Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices.

It is being speculated that the slashed prices are a clear indication of the early release of Microsoft Surface Pro 5. The Surface Pro 3 price has come down by around $200 and the same applies to Surface Pro 4.

As for Microsoft Surface Pro 5, it is said that the tablet is going to be fairly expensive than its predecessor but the hike is being accompanied by some goodies too. It is said to be coming with the powerful Kaby Lake- Intel's next generation processor.

Leaked reports also indicate at multiple premium features and they include an 8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage capacity, rechargeable Surface Pen and, a USB Type C-Port.

It might also feature a 4 K display, which is 3,840 pixels wide (minimum), reports iTech Post. Upgrades to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also expected to accompany the tablet and the much-looked-forward camera is also going to receive more power.

It is set to come loaded with extra and powerful function. Also, Microsoft is holding back the second part of Windows 10 update and this is because it wants to present the software features on the new devices that would be launched this week.

As far as other launches are concerned, Microsoft phones are going to debut along with Microsoft Surface Pro 5. According to sources, three different models will be unveiled at the event and it has been already confirmed by Microsoft.

The phones will also be loaded with advanced specs as the series' RAM is expected to range from 3 GB to 8 GB. Last but not the least, Microsoft Surface Book 2 is also expected to make an appearance.
