The Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie divorce news, more than anyone else's, has shaken up the world. It looks like the famous celebrity couple is so much in the public eye that every move or non-move it makes creates tsunamis.

Earlier this week, Pitt had not reacted to Angie's filing, although he had to do it by Wednesday. Angelina Jolie doesn't seem to be goading him over it either. She is reported to be getting skinny and depressed, which indicate that she is not gloating over their split.

Rumors say that Pitt has decided not to ask for joint legal/physical custody, as it might open up a custody battle that might turn ugly and vicious, says TMZ.

The recent news is that even though she has not ruled out the divorce courts, Angelina wants the estranged couple to function together, as a "fully involved father and mother." She wants the affair to be settled amicably, without any divorce battles. Isn't that great news for the children, the committed parents and - all the concerned people who were fully involved in their family?

How did everything lead up to this? Before turning into the 'former Mrs. Pitt' Angelina might have been made her remorseful and guilty. And perhaps wanting to reach out for a patch. Probably because of what prompted her to file for divorce - the children. And then by association, the children's father.

A source claims that "The kids can't stop talking about him and asking questions, which is bugging Angie but also making her miss Brad. Angelina may even be having second thoughts about leaving Brad." Does that make her refuse to leave him? Perhaps.

The source goes on to say that "she is a long way from calling off the divorce, but is no longer in a rush to get everything finalized."

As to why she suddenly misses him so much, the source adds: "Angelina didn't realize how much she would miss him but now that Brad is out of her daily life, she misses his sense of humor and seeing him everyday.

Angelina lived with him for 12 years, and they must have grown into each other. She is not a stony wall, nor is she emotionless. It would be puzzling if she did not miss him.

Whatever reasons she touted to divorce him - that he had been abusive, had cheated and had many substance abuse issues became a roaring campaign, to be sure!

However, hasn't it all slowed down now? There isn't such an anti-Pitt drive nowadays. In fact, it is the opposite. After exhausting its Pitt memorabilia, the media is aiming its verbal sten guns at Jolie.

Now that there is nothing left to pan the two of them anymore, perhaps there would be more ammunition to get them to reconcile.

Hope never did kill anyone, and it costs nothing. Hope can probably get the two to gum together again.
