Earlier it was rumored that San Antonio Spurs may consider trading options for LaMarcus Alridge. However, The Spurs have finally discarded all these rumors, claiming that they are not planning anything like that at all.

Rumors emerged this week that Alridge may not last with San Antonia Spurs till the end of the season. A report published by Yahoo claims that San Antonio Spurs may try to trade Alridge during the 2016-2017 session, which is still days away.

Alridge teamed up with San Antonio Spurs in 2015 with big plans. However, he did not become a star and things did not work out well for Spurs as they had expected at the start, and this was rumored to be the primary reason why he may be made "open to trading" in the upcoming session.

In the first season, Alridge played 50 percent of the shots from the floor and averaged 18 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Th team won a total of 67 games last season and is expect to land among the Top 4 teams this season as well.

However, the Spurs have denied the rumors stating they they are not thinking about trading Alridge at all. According to Oregon Live, Alridge said on The Jim Rome Show that he has not heard anything about it yet. He claims taking to his head coach, Gregg Popovich (Pop) everyday and that he tells him that he is doing really well.

Alridge further revealed how Pop has always put him in position that allows him to grow as a leader. In addition, he says that his other team members have always praised him and never said a bad word.

He confessed feeling happy to be a part of San Antonio Spurs and how everyone is always trying hard to make a bigger piece of the family. Alridge further said that he never pays any attention to these rumors as he always does what he is asked for.
