Reality star Scott Disick is mourning the sudden loss of his father, Jeffrey Disick, almost two months after the death of his mother Bonnie, E! News reports. Bonnie, 63, died in November. Sources revealed to E! that Disick's father died on Friday, Jan. 3 but details surrounding the death have not been released.

On an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" that aired during the summer, Disick revealed that his father had diabetes and was in need of a heart replacement. It's not clear whether this was the cause of Jeffrey's death.

"The whole family is so devastated and Scott is beside himself," the source told E!. "Scott is an only child with no remaining family."

On the same "KUWTK" episode, the 30-year-old also revealed that he had a hard time dealing with death. His longtime girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian tried to help him overcome his fears by urging him to visit a woman battling cancer who wanted to meet him as her last wish.

"You know I'm not good about talking about death. I don't want to be around someone who is dying," he said but decided to make the trip.

"Seeing Josie confront her illness really made me think about my dad - who suffers from diabetes and needs a heart replacement - I really don't talk about it because it's so hard for me," he told the cameras.

In November, sources told Radar Online that Disick was "very close to his mother" and was having a hard time dealing with her death. Following her passing, Kardashian and Disick attended a small funeral on Long Island.

"It was a small affair. There was just a handful of people," the source said. "No other Kardashians beyond Kourtney attended. But the entire family is saddened with the news of Bonnie's passing. They loved her so much."
