Nell Jones may officially replace Kensi Blye in "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 due to her current condition. On the other hand, Bar Paly returns in Episode 5 "Ghost Gun" and CBS has finally released its official plot summary and preview trailer clip.

Intelligence Analyst Nell Jones (Renee Felice Smith) is said to permanently replace Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) role in "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8. TV Guide reported that the newest character has the potential to fully take over Kensi's place now that she is showing no signs of recovery.

Kensi is currently on a comatose after having major injuries in a helicopter crash. Because of this, fans quickly speculated that Kensi will meet her demise.

On the other hand, Bar Paly will officially be a part of the upcoming episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8. According to Carter Matt, the 31-year old Russian-born Israeli-American model and actress will reprise her role as Anastasia "Anna" Kolcheck.

Anna Kolcheck is the estranged daughter of Arkady Kolcheck. She also happens to be a close friend of G. Callen.

As for the official synopsis of episode 5, Spoilers Guide notes, "The NCIS: LA team tracks signs within the city regarding a navy machine operator who is discovered murdered on the roof of a downtown high-rise.

The murder of a navy machine operator with high-security clearance directs the team on a city-wide hunt tracking evidence."

In addition to that, Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) teams up with G. Callen (Chris O'Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) to help Henrietta 'Hetty' Lange (Linda Hunt) in investigating a current case.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" Season 8 episode 5 is titled as "Ghost Gun". The upcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. first and exclusive on CBS Television Network.
