Early morning Friday, pop star Ke$ha made the decision to enter rehab at Timberline Knolls, a treatment facility in Illinois, to deal with an eating disorder, and sources claim a nasty fight with her record label and boss, Dr. Luke, have underscored the latest pressure in her life, TheImproper reports.

"I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," the 26-year-old singer revealed to TMZ Friday. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder...to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am."

The star has looked at least 25 pounds thinner than she did when bikini photos of her in Australia surfaced back in 2011, spawning a slew of nasty comments from gossip sites and online critics.

A source recently revealed to TheImproper that her battle for creative control over her music with Dr. Luke has not helped her stress levels over the past year. Ke$ha recently released a music video for her rock song "Dirty Love," which featured the iconic '70s rock icon Iggy Pop on the album version, but he was nowhere to be found in the video, as even his verse in the song had been cut out..

"She likely had no legal right to use the album version, so she used the Iggy Pop free original demo instead," said the source. "She's fighting to break free from her controlling label boss Dr. Luke, so she made a video of a rock song to defy him. She wanted [her sophomore album] 'Warrior' to be a rock album. He was the one who insisted on dance and electro songs. She's been in open rebellion against him for a year and the Free Kesha Luke creative freedom movement is getting bigger and more aggressive."

While "Warrior" takes on a more rock-inspired vibe, it still contains a decent helping of electro-pop songs, and despite the success of her debut album "Animal," it failed to sell or chart nearly as well.

The "Free Ke$ha Luke" movement was started as an online petition by Ke$ha's fans who are concerned that Dr. Luke has too much control over her music and artistry, and due to the current friction between her and her label, they argue he is actively trying to dismantle her career.
