An upcoming LG device will surface in the market soon. While everyone is anticipating that it will be the G6 unit, it is more likely that the company's new smartphone will be a mid-range one.

Reliable spiller OnLeaks manages to post photos of LG's newest item prior to a much anticipated product launching. There are speculations that the next one coming out is probably the LG Tribute HD, which is being promoted by Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile, or the V20.

However, these phones have already made the rounds which mean that another handset is on the line. Knowing the South Korean tech group's penchant to establish a foothold on the mobile market, it is probable that the new one can be the LG LV5 which can still be the unit's developmental name.

The pictures presented by OnLeaks' Steve Hemmerstoffer on Twitter feature only the front and back portions of a smartphone. By looking closely at the unit, some details are immediately noticeable.

The unit's front surface shows a full-glass frame. There is no sign of a Home button. Its look resembles the LG G5.

Meantime, the back component has been recognized to be made of plastic. It is likely that this piece is detachable which means that the battery is removable like the V20.

With no specifications posted, there are speculations that the unit runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat processor which is currently the leading operating system among smartphones not manufactured by Apple.

It is also noticeable that the dual-camera approach has been replaced by a mid-range design. Although it has a LED flash, the laser autofocus is nowhere to be found. Judging from the top curve form on the 2.5D glass display front, which actually became famous in the past few years, LG may be bringing back a classic theme here.

To make the product competitive, the South Korean tech group is also installing a fingerprint scanner on the rear power button.
