If you are a gamer and want to have the perfect 360 degree gaming experience then go with Play Station Virtual Reality (PSVR) headset.

PlayStation VR was displayed in India over the weekend during the Indian Games Expo (IGX 2016). Sony brought the PSVR to India and showed it at IGX. There are several revelations on the actual performance of PSVR that you will get to know in this article.

The PSVR is the budget alternative to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, which cost higher than PSVR. PSVR though has surprising potential, reports FirstPost.

Unlike Rift and Vive, which are equipped with sensors and need tracking cameras to function, PSVR just use simple LEDs and PS camera to track the orientation. If you know TrackIR, the PSVR uses a similar system.

The best competitors of PSVR, Rift and the Vive both use 2K screens yet the images are not very sharp in that. Also, Google Cardboard with a Full HD screen noticed to have severe pixelations. The PSVR gives you a full HD experience with full HD screen.

The worst part of PSVR is that, the PS4 itself doesn't seem to be able to do much good with the amazing headset.

In comparison to Oculus and HTC, which are recommend for graphical capability, the PS4 graphics capabilities are very tame. Performance difference is very apparent in VR.

The problem with PS4 and PSVR combining is that the games aren't optimized for the headset. The headset will have a static screen and no head-tracking while connecting it to PS4. Also the sound quality is very low; it won't be 360-degree audio for  PlayStation VR games.

The Polygon report notes that the game seems to have a visual downgrade on the headset compared to a 60-inch HD TV.

In a review, it was stated that a bunch of games on the PSVR -- Drive ClubBatman VR and Resident Evil 7 -- have one factor that stood out, the low resolution of the game. Jaggies and low-res textures were everywhere.

Player also wrote that it was so bad in fact that it felt like we were watching something like a 360p video on a 1080p screen.

"I hope the PS4 Pro manages to render higher resolution VR gaming because it would be a shame to waste PSVR on just the PS4," wrote in the review.
