In Episode 16 of the "Love in the Moonlight", Gyong-Nae was captured and taken into prison. When he was tortured, Prime Minister Kim Heon tried to uncover prince Lee Young's secret love and ousted him by bringing in Ra-On. Prime minister, whose daughter is king's wife, wanted his grandson to become crown prince, deposing Lee Young.
The king, Lee Young's father, ordered him to kill Ra-On, in which the crown prince hesitated. Chaos erupted as some of the soldiers suddenly turned against the king and turned out to be the rebel. While Byung-Yeon, prince trusted man turned against him.
The standoff ended in Episode 16 which promises a more enticing finale next Monday and Tuesday on KBS2. Speculations online suggest that the K-drama will leave a major cliffhanger for a possible Season 2.
