The release of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is not very far. There are a lot of rumours for the launch of high end graphic card Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti. According to Chinese-language website Zol, the monster graphic card will be formally launched at CES in January.

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the biggest consumer electronics and technology shows in the world. That is going to be held in Las Vegas in January next year.

The chip will be released after a keynote address by the Nvidia CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang. Yet Nvidia has not confirmed the claims about the chip, but there will be a keynote address for sure, reports i4u.

The keynote address will consist of a presentation on topics like Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Automated Cards, and Gaming etc. Jen Hsun will be addressing the crowd during the keynote address.

GTX 1080 Ti is a high end Pascal-based chip. The high end card is featuring 3328 CUDA cores, 1503 MHz base clock and a boost clock of 1,623 MHz. According to PCGamesn, GTX 1080 Ti will give you a 4K gaming experience.

The GTX 1080 Ti will directly compete with AMD's upcoming "Vega 10" high-end graphics cards. Those cards will carry RX 500 series brand names or updated "Fury" series brand names.

Ti is slightly higher than GTX 1080 with 2,560 CUDA cores and 1,606 MHz of base clock. Hence, it will not be a surprise if Nvidia tags the graphics card with $800 pricepoint. However, it would make Nvidia's card the most expensive single GPU.

Nonetheless, this is only a bit more expensive that Nvidia's previous model, GTX 1080, which is sold at USD 600. When we compare this card to the Titan X, which costs about $1200, the new graphics card can be purchased at a much cheaper price of $630 to $1200.
