Janet Jackson was recently spotted with a huge baby bump. It has sent tongues a-wagging and experts predict that the singer might well be expecting twins. Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, have not made any comments as of yet to either affirm or deny the conjecture. But both fans, as well as friends of the star, seem to believe the same.

Ever since Janet shared the news of her pregnancy in April, fans have been speculating about the details surrounding it. And with extremely sparse details from the to-be parents, fans are all the more eager to latch onto every scrap of information and rumor surrounding Janet's pregnancy.

Tito, Janet's brother, incited more interest with the news that the couple themselves don't know the gender of their child. However, he added that he hopes it's a girl as they "need more girls in the family" Romper reported.

Since the initial announcement and Janet's decision to go off tour, the singer was hardly seen in public places, which sparked rumors about her being on bed rest. But, when the 'Unbreakable' singer was seen last month, her fans' delight and speculations skyrocketed- especially on seeing the size of her baby-bump.

Reportedly, Janet had resorted to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and pregnancies with IVF often have chances of multiple births. This further fueled the rumors that Janet is expecting twins and it seem only more close to reality. Lisa DeFazio, a registered dietitian, further supported this theory of twin births to Hollywood Life, calling in the facts of Janet's reported weight gain in addition to IVF's usual probability of multiple births.

Notably, Janet's friends, too feel that she is probably going to have twins. Moreover, Janet is due to deliver a month before the predicted time, which is another sign of the baby - or babies - being twins.

However, despite the overwhelming number of bets in favor of Janet expecting twins, the couple's own tight-lipped reaction means that fans will have to wait till the couple announces or till Janet delivers the baby or babies.
