The South Korean technological giant Samsung has already been taking the lead in the array of producing spellbinding technological gadgets. And when it comes to modernizing its preceding models for a much better quality in terms of technology, Samsung has always been the winner.

According to the Bit Bag Game, it is now maintained that Samsung Galaxy J7 for the year 2017 is currently in the works now in order to replace Samsung Galaxy J7, which was released this year in March. This September, Samsung also released Galaxy J7 Prime.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy J7 and Galaxy J7 Prime both incorporate the presence of a full metal unibody design. The J7 (2016) measures 7.8 mm in overall thickness and weighs about 170 grams and comes in an assorted range of colors such as white black, gold, rose gold.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime (2016) measures 8mm in thickness and weights 7.7 grams, but comes with limited range of colors such as black and gold. The Galaxy J7 (2017) comes with a full metallic frame and measures 7.5 mm in thickness and is expected to come out in the same color options like Galaxy J7 (2016).

In terms of screens, the Galaxy J7 (2016) and J7 Prime features a 5.5 inch screen display. The Galaxy J7 (2016) supports HD resolution, whereas the Galaxy J7 Prime comes with the complete access of a full HD resolution screen. The Galaxy J7 (2016) is predicted to incorporate the same size display and resolution features like the Galaxy J7 Prime.

Chipset, RAM and Storage

The Galaxy J7 (2016) is powered by Snapdragon 617 chipset and comes with 2 GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage.

The Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a novel technology and is operated by Exynos 7870 chipset and 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB inbuilt storage same as the previous model. The approaching Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is anticipated to be driven by Exynos chipset.

It may also feature the same SoC present inside the Samsung J7 Prime. It may come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage. The Galaxy J7 (2016) and J7 Prime both have microSD expandable storage and the impending Galaxy J7 (2017) is also said to have it.

Camera and Software

 The Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J7 Prime both feature a 13-megapixel back camera with autofocus and LED flash. Galaxy J7 (2017) is also speculated to come with the same rear camera.

The J7 (2016) has a LED enabled 5 megapixel self-camera, whereas the J7 Prime lacks this feature, but has an 8 megapixel front camera. The Galaxy J7 (2017) may come with LED enabled 8 megapixel front camera.

In terms of software, all the three models of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J7 (2017) has and will incorporate the Android Marshmallow OS.

Battery and Price

Both Galaxy J7 (2016) and J7 Prime feature 3000 mAh batteries. The J7 (2017) will come with a battery of enhanced capacity of 3500 mAh.

The Samsun Galaxy J7 (2016) comes with a price of $240. The Galaxy J7 Prime is available to users for about $282. The Galaxy J7 (2016) is expected to sell around $250.
