South Korean smartphone maker Samsung Electronics has started teasing its new product Galaxy C9 amid suspended sales of its flagship Galaxy Note 7 devices.

The company has started teasing Galaxy C9 on its Weibo account in China, which hinted the smartphone maker's first 6GB RAM device.

The C9 is likely to have a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen with Snapdragon 652 chipset at the helm, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, a 16 MP camera on the back and a 16 MP front camera. 

The new device will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will have a strong long time backup 4,000 mAh battery. The company is likely to launch Galaxy C9 in China first but it is expected to be unveiled in the U.S. around mid-November. 

Samsung's teaser says, "The next big thing is coming."

The teaser showed the smartphone design with tweaked antenna lines and big could mean a really big screen. 

Samsung Galaxy C9 has already been certified by the FCC and the launch of the device now looks in the offing. Samsung has not launched a Galaxy C series device in India and it is unlikely that C9 will make its way to Indian shores. Galaxy C9 is a dual SIM smartphone which will give users options to use two networks on their device.

As far as connectivity options is concerned, the company offering include GPS, HotSpot, NFC,Wifi and Bluetooth.

The main feature of the device is a 16 MP camera with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus, Video Recording. The Front Facing Camera capable of shooting 16 MP selfies.

Meanwhile, Samsung is going through very bad phase with its smartphone business. The company has suspended the sales of replacement Galaxy Note7 devices and has asked retailers and carrier partners in the U.S. to stop sales.
