Following Justin Hartley's departure, another male cast member is set to exit "The Young and The Restless" Season 44 when this year ends. Aside from that, CBS has officially released the plot summary for today's episode October 10, 2016. While last Friday's episode is recapped here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Cast member Steve Burton officially confirmed that he will exit "The Young and The Restless" Season 44. According to iTech Post, the 46-year old American actor announced his departure via his official Twitter account last Friday, October 7, 2016.

Burton stated that his contract will no longer be renewed when it ends this December 2016. He joined the daytime soap in 2012 after winning the Daytime Emmy for his role in another daily show the "General Hospital". Shortly, he left the said daily show.

Burton plays the role of Dylan "Mac" McAvoy.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 28, Hollywood Hills notes, "Jill Foster Abbott Fenmore (Jess Walton) is going to get forced to clean up Billy Abbott's (Jason Thompson) mess. Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) will end up chasing down a hot scoop.

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) is going to struggle to balance work and family. Hilary will receive an ultimatum, and Billy is going to move out. Hilary will secretly record Victoria Newman's (Heather Tom) angry comments."
