"Dance Moms" Season 7 may be canceled on Lifetime. According to Parent Herald, the upcoming season has been rumored to be the last one to air on TV. This is after a lot of cast members like JoJo Siwa, Maddie and MacKenzie Ziegler decided to leave the American reality TV series. Following the three dancers' departure, more cast members expressed their plans of leaving the show.

In addition, "Dance Moms" coach Abby Lee Miller is still facing fraud charges and may be sentenced up to 10 years of imprisonment.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 28, Lifetime notes, "Abby Lee Miller punishes the minis for their poor performance and awards the elites their first solos of the season. Jill Vertes infuriates Abby when she makes a major decision about Kendall Vertes' music. No one feels safe when the media uncovers secrets from a mom's past."

In line with this, a scene from the preview clip showed Holly Frazier getting upset backstage during the competition. The mother of Nia Soux is seen complaining about her fellow team mothers' drama.
