The 2016 comedy superhero film Deadpool was one of the massive hit movie this year. Marvel fans, and even those who watched a Marvel movie for the first time, definitely want more of Wade Wilson aka Deadpool.

Well, they don't have to worry anymore, because the sequel was confirmed just months after the release of the first one, and because of the massive success of the film, the studio promised for the sequel to be just as good, if not better, than the first film. Moreover, reports have been claiming that additional casts are set to join the upcoming film.

Aside from Ryan Reynolds, who will still star as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, a number of casts and crews from the previous movie are still expected to return to the sequel. According to TechPlz, Rhet Reese and Paul Wernick will still come back for the sequel's screenplay. Tim Miller, Deadpool 2016 director, is also reportedly still going to direct the upcoming sequel.

Movie News Guide has reported that Stana Katic, who previously starred in ABC's Castle, will be set to star as Domino in the sequel. It reported that Katic would be perfect for the role as a love interest for the main protagonist, and that the actress would be able to pull of the stunts.

According to Deadline, the actress has hinted her departure from the television series, which made the fans speculate more about her involvement in Deadpool 2. But other reports are also claiming that Canadian actress Mackenie Davis is also considered for the role.

In the after-credits of the first Deadpool movie, it was confirmed that Cable, a time-travelling mutant, will be seen in the sequel. Possible casts to play as Cable include Friday Night Lights' Kyle Chandler and veteran actor Liam Neeson, according to a source.

But what really excite the fans is the possible appearance of Wolverine in the sequel. In a report from Christian Times, a plot rumor which involves Cable running into Wolverine as he moves from timeline to timeline, is possible. Wolverine will still be played by Hugh Jackman, but the studio haven't confirmed his appearance on the upcoming sequel yet.

Deadpool 2 is rumored to be released in the early months of 2018.
