With each member of the phenomenal British boyband One Direction taking separate career directions, it might be true that 1D has officially broken off.

Although Niall Horan recently denied such rumor in talk with The Hollywood Life, One Direction had been on a hiatus for too long that fans are anxious whether their favorite boyband became just a history. Likewise, fans have seen the 1D members appearing together less and less often.

Apparently, the five famous boy members of One Direction pursued separate career routes. Ever since Zayn Malik left the group last year, fans, however, cannot stop but to worry about the future of their beloved boyband group. Although One Direction seemed to be doing well even after Zayn's departure, the group gradually faded into  the limelight with fans hearing any news from them less and less.

The recent reports showed that Harry Styles signed a three-record solo contract with Columbia and seemed to have been exploring acting career while Niall also signed a record deal with Capitol Records with One Direction co-member Liam Payne as a label mate.

As for Louis Tomlinson who was left alone with his fatherly duties, he is also planning on starting a new group. As per the report of International Business Times, Louis turned to One Direction's own mentor Simon Cowell to help him launch a band girl with his own record label imprint under Sony.

Speaking with Mirror UK, Simon revealed that the girl band that Louis wishes to debut is "as good as I have ever heard."

Simon further gushed, "He has signed a deal with us as an imprint of a record label. He has a new artist who is going to be released this year, I hope, who are incredible."

So, what do you think about One Direction's hiatus? Do you miss them already? Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
