The horror-suspense spectacle "Bates Motel" is still months away from airing Season 5, but that does not impede fans from piecing together what may happen in the final 10 episodes of the coming season.

Since Season 5 is supposedly the season finale, fans expected that the plot will be unquestionably suspense being the pinnacle episodes.

Based on Alfred Hitchcock's thrill story "Psycho," Bates Motel will ultimately follow a thrill-seeking sequence that took place in the novel.

But according to GamenGuide, "Bates Motel" Season 5 will be following an out of the ordinary trajectory, hence, making it totally distinct to "Psycho."

Spectators, who have already taken a piece of what's in the 1969 "Psycho," may have envisaged the conclusion of the series. But according to Inquisitr, Carlton Cuse hinted that Season 5 will "blow the minds completely."

He also told TVLine, "We wanted the final season to allow us to do our [spin] of the Psycho lore. We will be colliding with certain events in the narrative of the film, but it would be boring to just recreate Psycho."

Moreover, Nestor Carbonell just revealed that he will be featuring Rihanna in the upcoming series "Bates Motel" Season 5. Rihanna will soon join the cast as Marion Crane, a character played by Janet Leigh in "Psycho."

While talking to TMZ, Nestor Carbonell, who plays Sheriff Alex Romero, said: "I don't want to give it all up, you know? But I know we're really excited. She's coming soon. I am going to get to direct her, which I'm really looking forward to."

"I'm going to work with her for sure... I haven't gotten the script yet," he added.

 Other than the storyline, new characters will also be seen in the season finale. Isabelle McNally's entry from the House of Cards will be taken by surprise as she will be seen portraying Madeleine Loomis, a character which was not highlighted in the film.

Described as a "warm, kindhearted" woman, the novel face bears a remarkable similarity with the protagonist Norma Bates.

The original "Psycho" featured the character of Sam Loomis as well, the boyfriend of Marion Crane. The connection of Madeleine and Sam is still in doubt, but rumors are rampant that Marion will be a mistress of Sam.

"Bates Motel" Season 5 is set to hit the screens in March 2017.
