Indian Actress Radhika Apte on Tuesday slammed a journalist during a press conference for asking about the leaked steamy sex scenes from her movie Parched.

The film Parched was leaked on the internet two weeks prior to its theatrical release on Sep. 23. A leaked scene from the movie went viral in which Radhika Apte was featured nude with co-actor Adil Hussain.

When the reporter asked if the sex scenes are deliberately released just for the sake of publicity, Radhika got angry and slammed the reporter with befitting reply.

"My friend, sorry but your question is very ridiculous. Controversies are made by people like you. You saw the clip? You shared it with other people? You are the person controversies are made out of. I'm an artist. If I'm required to do a certain job, I'll do it," said the actress.

She continued, "If you get out of your cocoon and look at what people are successfully doing abroad and are not ashamed of their bodies, you would not ask me this question. People who are ashamed of their own bodies have curiosity about other's bodies. If you want to see a naked body tomorrow, look at yourself in the mirror rather than my clip."

The reporter then apologised her for asking the question but she was in no mood to accept his apology.

"I didn't feel hurt. Sweetheart, you need to get over yourself and you will get over it," she added.

This is not the first time a nude clip of Radhika has gone viral right before the theatrical release.

"Parched" is a story about women set in the heart of parched rural landscape of India's northwestern province of Rajasthan.
