All the Apple enthusiasts who have been waiting for an update regarding the much awaited MacBook Pro 2016 can rejoice as the new laptop in the MacBook line-up is expected to release by October 24.

Recent reports indicate that it is likely for MacBook Pro 2016 to release in the last week of October as it has been the case with other MacBook in the past. In fact, it is highly probable for Apple to launch all its remaining products for 2016 in October, just in time for the big holiday season.

However, the fans who have been eagerly waiting for MacBook Pro 2016 will be spoilt for choice as this October, Apple is also releasing its 13-inch MacBook Air variant as well as iMac and 5K display, all at the same time.

There have been plenty of speculations about the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, as far as its specs are concerned. Several leaks in the past have hinted towards an OLED touchscreen panel that will replace the function keys on the keyboard. There is also talk about Touch ID being incorporated in the new MacBook Pro to allow Apple Pay to be included on new MacOS Sierra that has already been confirmed.

If rumors are to believed, MacBook Pro may also eliminate the headphone jack, inline with its latest iPhone 7. However, experts say that this may only be a speculation as it is unlikely for the laptop to remove the headphone jack at the moment. Even though it is possible for Apple to remove headphone jack from their laptops, it is not going to be the case for the 2016 model.

As far as the design of the latest MacBook Pro 2016 is concerned, it has already been speculated that it will be thinner and lighter than its predecessors. Under the hood, it will be powered by SkyLake Processors by Intel, unlike previous reports claiming that new MacBooks will feature Kaby Lake.
