George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin kept the fire of their marriage burning and celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Sep. 27.

Juicy details of the couple's anniversary were revealed this week including Amal's distaste towards George's cooking.

The revelation was made in an interview at the Motion Picture Television Fund's "Night Under the Stars" benefit in L.A. on Saturday, Oct. 1, when the actor was asked how they celebrated the occasion.

"I made dinner. I don't think she's ever quite impressed with my cooking...If I slap something together-spaghetti and meatballs-she doesn't know that it comes in a jar, so I can just fool her with that one," he candidly shared.

Despite his flawed cooking, Clooney assured that the low-key celebration was a success.

"We had a very romantic second anniversary. Very civilized," he said.

The second anniversary is also significant to Clooney in a way that he and his wife proved others wrong when they speculated that their relationship can't last long.

The actor proposed to the human rights lawyer in April 2014 after six months of dating. The proposal was said to be well-thought and well-plotted.

"I plotted the whole thing out. I had the ring hidden behind her. Everything was planned out and I had cooked dinner," he previously said in a previous interview.

Since their marriage, the Money Monster star has been vocal in praising his wife with regards to her intellectual stature, career and sense of fashion.

"She's an amazing human being. And she's caring. And she also happens to be one of the smartest people I've ever met. And she's got a great sense of humor. There's a number of reasons why," he once said.

George, being known as one of the most notorious bachelors in Hollywood, also pronounced in an interview in May that he is happy with his marriage.

"I've never been happier in a relationship by any stretch of the imagination. At 52 I found the love of my life and I'm really happy," he said
