Series creator Jill Soloway expressed her emotions why Amazon is perfect for the series and that she plans "Transparent" Season 4 to just continue until season 6. Aside from that, three cast members will officially be reprising their roles when the show returns in fall 2017.

Series creator Jill Soloway shared via Bustle how Amazon is for "Transparent." Soloway said, "Amazon's explosive freedom and revolutionary thinking has given birth to this show ... It's so much more than TV to us, it's our version of the most ambitious streaming art we can conjure.

We're having the time of our lives sharing season two for the awards season hoopla, and editing and finishing up season three for a fall release. This news of an order for Season 4 is so, so sweet. The Pfeffermans have much more stories to tell and we can't wait to keep making them."

In addition to that, Soloway revealed to Fame Start that she only plans to run the series until season 6 only. This is because the series creator feels like 6 is the right number of seasons for the show without any accurate reason why.

On the other hand, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffman, and Jay Duplass officially returns in "Transparent" Season 4. Movie News Guide mentioned that the 3 cast members will reprise their roles in the upcoming season.

Light will reprise her role as Shelly Pfefferman, Maura's (Jeffrey Tambor) former wife and the mother of Sarah, Josh, and Ali. Hoffman reprises his role as Ali Pfefferman, while Duplass as Josh Pfefferman.

As of now, the official release of "Transparent" Season 4 has not been finalized by Amazon and the series creator yet. Expect to see the upcoming season anytime soon in fall 2017 first and exclusive on Amazon Prime Video.

"Transparent" is an American comedy web television series created by Jill Soloway for Amazon Studios.
