After being branded as a "natural spy" by the director tipped to take charge of the new James Bond film, Tom Hiddleston has been reported to succeed Daniel Craig as the British super spy.

With a very notable remark from Susanne Bier, who is in the row to be the first ever female director of a 007 movie, Hiddleston has slipped down the search to finally take on the spy role. Bier was able to watch Tom in BBC show, The Night Manager.

Following his ill-fated relationship with Grammy Award winning singer Taylor Swift, as reported in HNGN, Hiddleston was tight-lipped about his reaction about his being a contender in the role. He never gave any comment when the issue broke.

But director Susanne gushed: "I think Tom could do anything. If he wants to Bond he would great at it."

The director also added that Tom is such a natural spy since a bigger part of what he is thinking is still kept a secret. This factor, according to the director, is what makes Tom interesting, fitting for the spy role plus captivating on the screen.

Meanwhile, the director also boasted that she will do an amazing job. Despite the fact that she is a woman, she explained that she can also create an incredible Bond movie.

According to The Week UK, other contenders for the James Bond role are Poldark star Aidan Turner, Michael Fassbender, and James Norton.

Tom Hiddleston also mentioned that all possibilities are already on the table for his next role.

When he was asked on his next move in his career, he gave an answer in which anyone can make an inference that he is the top choice among the contenders.

He said: "I don't officially know that yet. It is an interesting time there are lots of possibilities but I haven't locked on anything yet."

If Tom Hiddleston would be lucky to get the coveted role, would he make a great spy as James Bond?
