For months, Mi Note 2 leaks have been all over the internet showing two possible variants of the phablet: 4GB and 6GB RAM. The latest leak showed an "About Phone" screen shot with the specs from the upcoming device.

Mi Note 2 is going to be the "Pro" variant according to the leaked screen shot. It showed that the phablet will have an 8GB of RAM and is going to be powered by a quad-core processor at 2.6GHz, probably the Snapdragon 821 with a whopping 256GB internal storage. On top of Android 7.0 Nougat will be Xiaomi's MIUI 8 OS, MIUI v8.6.9.8, as reported by Android Headlines.

Rumors said Xiaomi's new phablet will have a 5.7-inch display with fullHD and QHD variants. It case is made of metal and glass. While the previous leaks showed a Mi Note 2 with flat display, the new leak claimed that the phablet will have a curved display.

On the other hand, some rumors said that Mi Note 2 Pro will also come in two other storage options: 64GB and 128GB. It is also said that it will feature a fingerprint sensor, two speaker grilles, USB Type-C port and 3,600mAh battery, Gadgets 360 reported.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi will be holding an event on Sep. 27at China National Convention Centre, Beijing to unveil its much awaited Xiaomi Mi 5s. Rumors said that Mi 5s will have a 5.15-inch display, 6GB of RAM with 256GB storage powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset and Adreno 530 GPU.

The new phone is also expected to have a 16MP camera and 3,490mAh battery. According to the latest rumor, it features Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. It will run on MIUI 8 based in Android Marshmallow and support dual-SIM slots.
