Alleged unofficial trailer and script of A Series of Events TV adaptation have been recently leaked online.

As per the report of Movie News Guide, a Reddit user posted a trailer for the series. Many however are rather speculative that the video actually came from Netflix. Likewise, alleged scripts which revealed a dialogue between Alber, Edgar, Klaus, and Eleanora also surfaced online.

Neil Patrick Harris, who will be playing the villain Count Olaf, also teased the fans and shared pieces of information. In an interview with Live with Kelly, the How I Met Your Mother legendary actor talked about what fans can expect from the Netflix revamp of Lemony Snickets' popular novel A Series of Unfortunate Events .

Harris opened up that the recollection of A Series of Unfortunate Events will be more relaxed compared to the movie adaptation which premiered back in 2004.  Instead of trying to truncate the 13-book series into a two-hour movie, Netflix will release two episodes per book. The fans can expect twenty-six episodes for the series then.

As of the moment, Harris said that eight episodes have already been shot. The actor also notes that the series is the most expensive show that Netflix has ever done. As per the report of Morning Ledger, the series is expensive due to the components of making it. There are speculations that A Series of Unfortunate Events will feature some Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) and give fans some visual treats.

"I'm super excited about it. It's a much darker take on the material that's been seen before. It's not rated 'R' dark. In addition to it being for adults and twenty-somethings and teenagers, they want it to be for kids as well," Harris further said.

A Series of Unfortunate Events is expected to hit small screens in 2017. Netflix, however, is yet to announce the specific date. Click below to see the fan-made teaser and stay tuned for more updates!
