For a while, Lee Min-Ho forgets about the controversy involving him and his girlfriend as he stirred Spain news during the filming of his new drama with Jun Ji-Hyun.

The new drama, titled "Legend of the Blue Sea", will air over SBS in November as the TV station said the project will become the "Greatest Show Ever Aired", as Korea Boo reported.

The SBS confidence to the actors and screenwriter is shown by approving the drama even before its synopsis was explained to the TV station.

Fans are already eager to watch Lee and Jun Ji-Hyun in the most anticipated drama. The hype surrounding it is expected to catapult the drama to be one of the most popular this year.

The drama is filmed in the province of Catalonia, Spain. Local newspaper in the city of Girona already made a buzz about, as Soompi reported.

Newspaper Diari de Girona put the picture of Lee Min-Ho during the filming at the front cover with caption, "Korean Fantasy Drama at the Old Quarter of Girona."

In the front cover of the Catalonian language newspaper, Lee was pictured wearing a sky blue shirt and light grey pant at the set. He was attacked by three people. He plays double role as a noble in Joseon era and con artist in the present day.

His co-star is the world famous Jun Ji-Hyun who plays a mermaid in the first mermaid story ever written in Joseon era. Other supporting cast members are Lee Hee Joon, Shin Hye-Sun, Moon Sori, Lee Ji-Hoon and Na Young Hee.

Prior to filming, Lee was caught in the controversy surrounding the failure of "Uncontrollably Fond" to achieve good rating as the acting of his girlfriend Bae Suzy was below expectation. Suzy's poor performance is speculated because of Lee's jealousy in the romantic scene between Suzy and her handsome co-star Kim Woo-Bin.

With a story written by "The Producer" writer Park Ji-Eun and directed "City Hunter" director Ji-Hyuk, "Legend of The Blue Sea" is scheduled to air in November on SBS. The series will follow after currently played drama "Jealousy Incarnate."
