As the final season of "Switched at Birth" approaches, there is a great deal of anticipation for the comeback of some of the show's favorite characters to the small screen.

As fans, look forward on its return, there are speculations on the plot in the new season particularly if the family will soon get a happy ending or otherwise.

In the upcoming installment of "Switched at Birth," many fans are anticipating for some happenings of family resolutions, more so that some viewers were not pleased with the ending of the drama-filled Season 4. As a result, GameNGuide released a report suggesting that the upcoming season will bring a great deal of emotions when the family returns.

But one of the highly controversial and trending topics regarding the show is the impending divorce of John (portrayed by D.W. Moffet) and Kathryn (played by Lea Thompson).

The series' past episodes were evidences of how the two struggled in their marriage due to money constraints. Due to this conflict, viewers are speculating on the manner the writers shall give a resolution on the issue.

On one hand, fans are getting excited on the progress of Lily and Toby's relationship as it was teased that they will tie the knot on Season 5. It has been rumored also that after the Lily gives birth to their child, the two are expected to marry through an official ceremony.

Viewers are definitely enthusiastic to witness the other events that will take place in "Switched at Birth" Season 5. Moreover, it was speculated that the upcoming installment could present a death which triggers another challenge that the family will encounter.

Just Jared also revealed, through its interview with cast Vanessa Marano, that the plot of the next season will put a resolution to the unresolved conflicts in Season 4.
