Bandai Namco Entertainment officially released the trailer for Tekken 7 on its YouTube channel. The game's trailer began streaming on Sunday during the Tokyo Game Show 2016 (TGS 2016).

Tekken 7 features a new benchmark in graphical fidelity, pushing the visuals of new generation consoles and PC to maximized usage. The new edition of the hugely-popular fighting game also represents the final chapter of the 20-year-long Mishima feud.

According to Anime News Network, players will tread from the Mishima clan's point-of-view and will focus stories from other fighters as well. The plot revolves around Claudio Serafino's group of exorcists called The Archers of Sirius, which was approached by the Mishima Zaibatsu to partner with their company. Claudio begins to doubt the true motives of the Mishima Zaibatsu concerning their partnership and he starts to investigate the powerful conglomerate.

GamenGuide also reported earlier that Tekken 7 is set to launch in the first quarter of 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC players. It was also revealed that producer Katsuhiro Harada said that Bandai Namco is planning to release a paid DLC for "Tekken 7".

"Tekken 7" will feature 30 playable characters beginning with fan-favorites and all-new fighters including Steve Fox, Hwoarang, Asuka, Paul Phoenix, Kazuya, Yoshimitsu, King, Xiaoyu, Marshall Law and Heihachi. The new fighters are Tekken 6's Bob and a new character called Master Raven.

Tekken is a fighting video game franchise originated in 1994 created, published and developed by Namco (which later became Bandai Namco Entertainment). It was the first fighting game that heavily utilized 3D animation. The premise of each of Tekken's releases references the King of Iron Fist Tournament, an event organized by the Mishima Zaibatsu where the winner will be awarded with full control over the company and will host the next tournament.

Tekken has since spawned several sequels and spin-offs. Fans are now awaiting the release of the game's newest release to satiate their thirst for the ultimate fighting game experience.
