After delays stemming from unknown reasons, Apple now seems to have something new to present to their users. The California tech giant is now venturing to fulfill its other promises to its customers after releasing its much-awaited gadgets.

Peter Stern, who was recently hired by Apple, has now cleared the air surrounding the Cupertino-based company's TV services. It looks like those expecting it won't have to wait for too long anymore.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Stern's new role in Apple will focus on cloud services, including Apple Music and iCloud. He'll report directly to Apple's SVP Eddy Cue, who led the company's previous TV streaming negotiations.

While at Time Warner Cable, Stern pushed for cable companies to embrace apps and put their content on as many platforms as possible, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Therefore, in light of the recent releases of the markets giants, it is rumoured that the TV may also play along. Apple reportedly planned to launch a skinny bundle of roughly 10 live TV channels for about $30 per month, but media giants like Fox and Disney refused such a proposal, claiming more channels were being included in the service.

However, with the recent appointments, there exists a ray of hope that Stern would be instrumental in helping Apple to gain its access to establish TV services. He is known to have a deep knowledge of the cable industry's economics and has established relationships with major media companies.

But, it's now to be decided as to how the appointment of Stern would be beneficial to the Cupertino giants and Apple as a whole as it seeks to polish its TV services.
