On Christmas day, Chrissy Teigen posted a rather disturbing video to Instagram of her husband John Legend choking her. While the video was intended to be a joke, followers were shocked and concerned about the model's safety, prompting her to quickly delete it, the Daily Mail reports.

In the prank video, Teigen said "Merry Christmas" before Legend was seen grabbing her throat as she pretended to choke, asking her followers for "help" as the two pretended to fight on camera.

This isn't the first time that Teigen has posted a humurous video that has been thought to be in poor taste. Back in October, she and fellow Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker introduced followers to the "vagina raspberry," in which Decker blows a rapsberry into Teigen's crotch, earning the star over 2,000 likes.

"I'm glad the vagina raspberry has gotten the attention it deserves. My parents are proud," she tweeted soon afterwards. However, unlike her "vagina raspberry" video, Teigen chose to delete the choking video, presumably as not to alarm more of her followers.

Recently, the star also buried her copy of "Fifty Shades of Grey" in the sand while in Mexico for the holidays, deeming it "horrendous."

"I have purchased two riveting reads, neither more intense than the other," she tweeted, reference "Fifty Shades" and the non-fiction book, "SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper."

"Entire 1st page dedicated to hair brushing. 'Must not brush it wet' 'time for a ponytail' wow compelling stuff here #mysterysciencelibrary," she wrote in reference to E.L. Jame's novel. "Yes. I am attempting to read this. For you," later concluding, "I have an extremely high pain tolerance. But I honestly don't think I can do this. This book is f**king horrendous," before posting the photo of her burying it in the sand.
