Following the confirmation that the god of Thunder's love interest Jane Foster portrayed by Natalie Portman in Thor and Thor:The Dark World will not be having a part in Thor: Ragnarok, there are speculations circulating online that Thor will find a new girlfriend.

Rumor has it that Valkyrie, a new character that will be played by Tessa Thompson, will replace Jane in Thor's heart. Valkyrie is a powerful Asgardian warrior and leader of the Valkyrior.

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studies, explained that Portman's role is not necessary for Thor:Ragnarok since Thor will not be spending much time on Earth. He said, "I can confirm that. yes. There are only a couple of scenes on Earth in this movie, 80 to 90% takes place in the cosmos."

Fans are saddened by this news. As per the report of ScreenGek.net, the fans have nothing to worry about because Thor will be more focused on his mission than finding another romance. This mission, however, has not given any specific details yet.

However, as mentioned by Feige, the film will be set in cosmos. The fans rather speculate that Thor will be traveling around the Nine Realms in the third film. Moreover, it is rumored that his Avenger buddy, The Hulk, will be joining him in this adventure.

Aside from Portman, Stellan Skarsgard who plays Professor Erik will also not reprise his role in Thor:Ragnarok. Other actors, however, that will be joining the set include Karl Urban as the Asgardian warrior Skurge and Jurassic Park's Jeff Goldblum who landed the role Grandmaster, an old cosmic being that loves pitting different teams against each other. Likewise, in addition to the classic Loki, the main villain for the sequel is Hela the Asgardian Goddess of Death and a daughter of an alt-version of Loki. Hela will be portrayed by Cate Blanchet.

There you have it, it seems that our thunder hero will remain faithful to his beloved Jane. Thor:Ragnarok  will hit US theaters on November 3, 2016. Stay tuned for more updates!
