LG's recently launched V20 smartphone with world's first Android Nougat 7.0 and the expected Google's smartphone Pixel XL are in tough competitions.

The features and the specification of LG V20 smartphone are compared with expected Pixel XL phone which is rumored to launch in October as per the BitBag.

Display - LG V20 comes with a 5.7-inch Quantum display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution and Pixel XL is expected to have 5.5-inch QHD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Though the resolution remains the same, the screen size in LG V20 is bigger than the Pixel XL.

Design - The LG V20 measures 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm shows up full metal design, built with lightweight aluminum and a light silicone-based material. It has MIL-STD 810G drop protection and a nice slim bezel. Pixel XL is expected to be 143.8 mm x 69.5 mm, 7.3 mm thick at the bottom and 8.5 mm at the top with varying thickness.

Hardware - Pixel XL is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4GB of RAM equipped with 32GB internal storage whereas the LG V20 is powered by Qualcom Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM equipped with 64 GB of internal storage and expandable up to 2 TB with external microSD card.

Battery - The LG V20 phone is powered by 3,200 mAh battery with Quick Charge support while Pixel XL is expected to have a bigger 3,450mAh battery. As battery size expectations are bigger in Pixel XL, the battery life is also expected to be longer than the LG V20.

Software - The LG V20 is the first device to launch with Android 7.0 Nougat, overlaid with LG's UX 5.0+ build out of the box. The Pixel XL is rumored to roll out with pre-installed Android Nougat 7.1. The Pixel XL software will be known when the mobile truly comes out.

Camera - The LG V20 has a pair of rear cameras, a 16-megapixel f/1.8 regular sensor and an 8-megapixel f/2.4 wide-angle sensor with a 135-degree view. The camera comes has a feature of optical image stabilization, along with electronic image stabilization and digital image stabilization for smooth videos. It also has a hybrid autofocus system on board to detect the scene and pick the best method for quick focusing in all conditions.

The phone is also equipped with 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide angle lens. Pixel XL is expected to share Sony IMX179 8-megapixel sensor on the front and the Sony IMX378 12-megapixel sensor at the back with12MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
