Sony have released a new variant of PS4 called "Slim" along with 4K support and some new additional features. However, in-reality, it doesn't output 4K or stream at such resolutions. It's just a remaster of their old hardware just to keep their console loyalists be in the race.

There will be a new variant which will be themed after Final Fantasy 15 to be released sometime in November this year. Sony said that they plan to bring it out to the UK markets on Nov. 29.

It includes the FF15-themed 1TB PS4 slim, a Dual Shock 4 wireless controller and the "Final Fantasy 15: Deluxe Edition" of the game.

The Deluxe Edition includes the CGI animated movie "Kings glaive: Final Fantasy 15" on Blu-ray disc. The Luna Edition PS4 slim model is "hardware with a storyline", Final Fantasy 15, according to director Hajime Tabata during Sony's media briefing.

The console design was inspired by a shot in the game that shows protagonist Noctis looking wistfully up at a moonlit sky.

The Limited Deluxe Edition Bundle will feature a 1 TB hard drive and a nice-looking illustration of the moon on its front.

Additionally, the console's Dual Shock 4 features a Final Fantasy XV graphic. The game itself comes with a steel book case that sports some striking art.

The console will be sold exclusively at GameStop for $450 USD/$550 CAD. A release date for the bundle was not announced, but it's also expected for it to launch alongside the game.

According to game director Hajime Tabata, the design is inspired by Final Fantasy XV's main character Noctis gazing up at the moon during his travels throughout the game's story. A new, more powerful PS4, the PS4 Pro, is scheduled to come out in November for $400. Final Fantasy XV is among the games that will be enhanced for the system.
